My name’s Thomas, the creator of Hits! District.

I started this platform 3 years ago out of pure obsession — and a little frustration…

During my 10 years of DJing, I became a little obsessed with crate digging. I had a ridiculous amount of subscriptions to pretty much every DJ Pool available. I’d go through thousands of tracks (sometimes daily) while also going through SoundCloud, Spotify, Beatport, Traxsource….

If you’ve ever gone through that process, you’ll know: it’s exciting, but also exhausting. There was no platform with real quality control, and I wanted to change that.

The goal of Hits District was to drastically reduce the amount of time it took users to discover great music, while also making it fun.

I wanted to provide a tool for artists/listeners to discover amazing music quickly and efficiently.
