My name’s Thomas, the creator of Hits! District.

I started this journey 3 years ago out of pure obsession — and a little frustration…

During my 10 years of DJing, I’d spend countless sleepless nights crate digging. I always wanted to be fully prepared, and probably took it way too far… I had a ridiculous amount of subscriptions to pretty much every DJ Pool available. I’d go through thousands of tracks (sometimes daily) and yeah, it was extremely time consuming.

No matter what platform I was using, it was always cluttered with out-of-key mashups, poor quality edits, and I was left feeling as though there’s absolutely no curation source of high-quality music.

If you’ve ever gone through that process, you’ll know: it’s exciting, but also exhausting. So… I set myself a mission to reduce the pain for others, and provide a platform dedicated to proper music curation

The goal… Provide a tool for artists/listeners to discover amazing music quickly and efficiently, while also making it fun.
